Animal Behavior Consulting
Does your dog jump up on guests as they enter your home, or act aggressively on walks? Does your cat urinate outside of the litter box? Having trouble introducing a new cat into your household? Is your parrot plucking out her feathers? If yes, I may be able to help you solve your pet's behavioral issues.
My mission is to help people and their pets lead healthy and happy lives. My goal is that in doing this work I can help decrease the number of pets surrendered to shelters.
As a UW-AAB trained animal behaviorist, I use my diagnostic skills to assess and develop personalized treatment plans for specific behavioral issues. A dog trainer can, and often times does, help implement this plan.*
If I'm unable to help you, I promise to let you know and to refer you to another qualified specialist.
I can also help you find a trainer who will help you implement my treatment plan, a trainer that is committed to using science-based, positive reinforcement techniques.
*Behaviorists are different from trainers. To learn more about which one is right for you and your pet, please check out: www.thesprucepets.com/dog-trainers-versus-behaviorists-1118258
